Friday Night Meeting locations and times will be provided at a later date.

Teams must be  pre-registered to fish our tournaments. 

                    No entry or fees will be accepted at Friday night check in.

CUT-OFF for tournament registration will be 11:59PM the WEDNESDAY before the tournament. Registrations/entries received after this deadline will not be accepted.

A Team Member is required to attend the Friday night meeting. 

Check IN for the Tournaments will begin at 4:30PM on the Friday before the Saturday Tournament.

If you are a new member or someone who has renew their 2025 membership, then you'll need to pickup your 2025 ID Card. 

Proceed to the Check In Table and pick up your Boat Card. You'll need to show your ID Card, so we'll know your Team Number. Once you have your Boat Card your are Checked In. 

Next, it's dinner time! We generally start serving at 6PM.

At approximately 7PM the Inspirational Message will begin.

After the Inspirational Message, door prizes will be presented and we will cover tournament rules. 

General Tournament Rules:

Fishing start time will be announced at this time. 3PM on tournament day is the "all lines out" end of fishing for the tournament. Teams will be required to weigh in their catches by 4PM. We realize lines could form for weigh in. Teams in line will be permitted to weigh their bags, without late penalty. Teams arriving(lining up) to the weigh line after 4PM will be assessed a 1 lb penalty for each minute they are late. After 15 mins the entire catch will be disqualified. 

Also after the Inspirational Message Teams will be required to check out of the meeting. This check out will confirm your attendance to the Inspirational Message. Plus, a Team member will be required to scan their BOAT CARD. After the Boat Card is scanned then a team member will pickup their tournament bag. This bag will contain:

1.  a recap of the rules and procedures for the tournament.
2. Marker ribbon. This ribbon is to be attached to the trolling motor shaft the morning of the tournament at launch time.
3. Various snacks.

• The position payouts will be based upon the total number of teams in the tournament. With 1 in 5 teams being paid.
• $1000 Loyalty Money to the highest 2nd place team that fished the prior Texas East event.
• Big Bass Bonus, varies, $5 times the number of teams in the tournanent plus a $500 kicker.
• $150 Highest placing Male/Female Team
• $150 Highest placing Adult/Junior Team
• $150 Smallest sack weighted
• $150 first place out of the regular payout.
• SPECIAL END of SEASON PAYOUT. All teams which fish all five(5) events will be entered into a drawing at the end of the season. The winner of this drawing will have their Tournament Entries for the 2025 season paid for.

• Texas East allows trailering. This means teams may launch from any boat ramp on the tournament lake.
• Tie your ribbon on to your trolling motor. This ribbon will be issued on Friday night after the Inspirational Message.
• At the Friday Night meeting the starting time "first cast" will be announced. Teams are not to begin fishing until that designated time.
• Fishing will end and all lines must be out of the water by 3PM.
• Proceed to the tournament weigh in point to have your fish/sack weighed. When you arrive at the weigh in locate one of our Check in personnel(they'll be in the yellow vest). Present your Boat Card to the Check In person. The QR code on your Boat Card may be scanned or we may manually record your Boat Card. Regardless, we will capture/report  your Team ID(Boat ID)number and the time you checked in.
• Next, proceed to the scales to have your sack weighed. Make sure you have your Boat Card with you, as the weigh master will need to know your Boat Number. Your fish will be checked for proper length and we insure fish are alive. Aerated tanks will be available for you to stage your sacks in while waiting to be weighed.
• After we weigh your fish, then we'll take your picture. Then Stick around for the results and "your PayCheck".

Polygraphs will be performed after each tournament. 

Winning Team and one or more "at-large" team(s) from the winners will be polygraphed.

Special Note: Fishers of Men does not allow nor will tolerate the consumption of alcoholic beverages or use of recreational drugs during the tournament and or pre-tournament activities. Use of alcohol or drugs will affect the results of a polygraph. Should we be unable to conduct a polygraph because of alcohol or drug usage, then the team will be disqualified.
