2026 Season Ending BONUS Payouts

At the end of the Texas East Division tournament season two (2) major payouts will be made, Division Championship Points Payout Bonus and Super District BONUS.

Division Championship Points Payout

After the end of the tournament season the TOP-Points team in the division will receive the Division Championship Points Payout Bonus. This Bonus is based upon the number of teams we have in each tournament. Money’s are escrowed, $5 per team in the tournament, after each tournament for this payout. Example: $5 times 200 boats in the tournament will escrow $1000.00 towards the Division Championship Payout Bonus. Thus, 5 tournaments with 200 teams in each would result in a Championship Payout Bonus of $5000.00 at the end of the season.

Also, the Division Championship Points team will receive an automatic invitation to the Fishers of Men National Championship tournament to be held in 2027.

Teams will earn points, per tournament, based up their finishing position in the tournament. Plus, teams which attend the Friday night meeting will receive 50 points per tournament. Maximum points to be earned in tournament is 300 points. Thus, 1st place team will receive 300 points. 2nd place team will receive 299 points. 3rd place team will receive 298 points. So on….

District Championship - SUPER District BONUS

Teams fishing in 3 or more tournaments, plus finishing in the “top” 80% of the points field will be eligible to fish the District Championship tournament. Location and time for this tournament have yet to be set, but should be in the October time frame. 

To the Texas East team, who wins or is the highest placing Texas East team in the District Championship, a $2500 Bonus payout will be paid to the team. For the 2026 season, this is a change.

NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP - Texas East BONUS Payout

For the highest placing or winning Texas East team of the Fishers of Men National Tournament a $2500 Bonus payout will be paid to the team. For the 2026 season, this is a change. 

NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP ELIGIBILITY

Below are the teams that will qualify to enter the FOM / Berkley Team Series National Championship:

• Defending National Champions
• Points Champions in each Team Series Division
• Top 20% from each District Championship
• Top Male/Female team from each District Championship
• Top Adult/Junior team from each District Championship
• Top Bass Cat Owner team from each District Championship
• Top Mercury Motor Owner team from each District Championship

Payouts for the National  Championship traditional FOM payouts with 1 in 5 teams being paid.
